This is the "BEFORE" picture... |
...and this is what it will look like when it is finished. (Pictured edited in Photoshop) |
||
These are some before pictures of the frame and engine.
This is how the frame and engine turned out, but the colourful rear still has a bit sanding to be done.
The fairing is fixed with ABS plastic cement since some tabs are missing and the plastic needs reinforcement.
This is the ABS cement can, and the small pieces that go up along the windscreen pillar on the inside ready for painting.
The small strip behind the turn signal is gone and needs to be replaced.
This is the old strip (lower), and the new strip (upper) to be put in place.
And some sanding needs to be done.
Some more sanding to do for the ultimate finish.
Primered and ready for painting.
A colourful bike after sanding.
The fuel tank clean with little dents......... | .........and the dents fixed. | The plastics and fuel tank ready for painting.
Different stands for paintjobs, and the new HVLP spray gun.
The old helmet needs painting too. The painted filler panel next to an original one. |
|||
The rims grit blasted. The new Michelin Macadam 100x tyres. The stand for painting also works as a balancing stand. |
|||
The frame waiting...... |
......for the new painted wheels. A very good result. |
||
All the black parts get painted and clearcoated. Even the old helmet. |
|||
The fuel-tank gets its paint and stripe kit. And clearcoat.
The final assembly is started..... | ......and the finished result.
Once again the before picture.... And the finished '87 CBR1000F. |
|||
End of story...... |
